Nashville School of Law

If you would like to become a lawyer but find that you can’t leave your full-time job in order to take classes, there are still ways for you to enter law school. If you live right near Nashville, Tennessee, then you might want to consider enrolling in the Nashville School of Law.

Nashville School of Law is a night law school that specializes in legal education for part-time and non-traditional students. It is located at Amory Oaks Drive in Nashville, Tennessee. Nashville School of Law boasts of their faculty members who are practicing lawyers and judges. The school also claims that a very large percentage of their alumni are now working in the legal field. The school holds classes on Monday to Thursday nights, as well as Saturday mornings. For you to graduate in a span of 4 years, you must be able to attend at least two nights of classes for each week. Nashville School of Law offers a variety of courses and electives that are meant to hone your analytical and communication skills. Among these courses are Banking Law, Business Associations, Torts, Crimes, Taxation, Criminal Procedure, and Constitutional Law, among others. (2)

If you’re worried about the tuition fee, you need not be because the tuition fees required by Nashville School of Law are among the lowest of private law schools in the United States. You can even get a refund of your tuition fee if you decide to drop some courses, provided, of course, that you will make a written notification to the Dean. If you would like to get financial assistance, there are also some scholarships that can be granted to students on their second, third, and fourth year. These scholarships will be granted based on the student’s financial need and academic performance. (3)

The only downside to enrolling in Nashville School of Law, though, is the fact that it is unaccredited by the American Bar Association. There are a number of law firms in Nashville that do not hire graduates of unaccredited schools such as Nashville School of Law. However, if you would like to become a paralegal or work for the government, then enrolling in Nashville School of Law may be very beneficial to you. (4)
